Thread Lifting Procedure
Step by Step.
1. Facial Assessment
and Treatment Planning
The doctor will evaluate
your facial structure
and skin concerns—
such as sagging cheeks,
an undefined jawline,
or deep lines
and design the thread placement
to achieve natural-looking
lifting results.
2. Cleansing the Skin
Your face will be thoroughly
cleansed and disinfected
to reduce the risk of infection.
3. Topical Anesthetic / Local Anesthesia
A numbing cream is applied
for 30–45 minutes
In some areas, the doctor may inject
local anesthesia to minimize discomfort
during the procedure.
4. Thread Insertion
The doctor uses a fine needle or cannula
to insert the threads beneath the skin
according to the planned design.
Threads help lift the skin
and stimulate collagen production.
5. Adjusting the Threads
Once inserted, the doctor will gently adjust
and tighten the threads to shape the face
For example:
- lifting the cheeks,
- defining the jawline,
- elevating the outer corners of the eyes.
6. Trimming and Final Cleansing
Any excess thread is trimmed
and the skin is cleaned again.
Procedure Time
Approximately 30 minutes
depending on the case.
Results
Visible immediately after the procedure
Skin will continue to improve and tighten
over the next 1–3 months.
