especially during the first 3–7 days

• Mild swelling
• Minor bruising
These symptoms

within 1–2 weeks

• Increasing pain
• Redness, swelling, or warmth
• Pain lasting longer than 2 weeks
• Skin dimpling
or uneven surface
• Hard lumps under the skin
Common causes
of prolonged pain
• Threads placed too deep
• Sensitive skin
• Excessive facial movement
• Sleeping on the face too soon
How to reduce pain
after thread lift
• Avoid wide mouth movements
• Avoid facial massage
for 1–2 weeks
• Avoid hard
or chewy foods
• Sleep on your back
• Take medications
as prescribed
Normally, discomfort
improves gradually
and resolves
within 1–2 weeks
If pain lasts
longer than 2 weeks
you should return
to your doctor
